In an age where most wood windows are no longer manufactured completely from wood, we have designed an authentic wood double-hung window. Balances that operate the sash are concealed behind the wood jamb liners. This window combines the style and beauty of an earlier time with modern manufacturing and engineering. In a double-hung, both the top and bottom sashes operate. In a single-hung, one sash is fixed while the other is operable.

Jamb:	1-1/2" thick; 5" wide with no screen; 5-7/16" wide with exterior aluminum screen; 6-1/4" wide with wood screen; 7-7/16" wide with pull-down screen (jamb extenders available).
Sash:	1-3/4" thick on standard sizes; 2-1/2" stiles and top rail; 3-1/4" bottom rails.
Screen:	Hinged wood screen is standard. Rare earth magnet catch. Thickness 1-1/8", width of frame 1-3/4", hinge 2-1/2" x 2-1/2"; screen ships with no pull.
Glazing:	Standard 5/8" clear dual-glazed with champagne-colored aluminum spacer. Refer to the Glass section for additional glass options.
Wood Species:	Incense Cedar or Mahogany.
Hardware:	Duplex adjustable sash balance, sash lock (two per window) with Dark Bronze Oil-Rubbed finish standard.

Additional features & options

Hinged wood screen (standard) Rare earth magnet catch. Thickness 1-1/8", width of frame 1-3/4", hinge 2-1/2" x 2-1/2", screen ships with no pull. Bronze aluminum screen (option not shown) Exterior aluminum lift-out screen with charcoal gray fiberglass mesh.
Pull-down screen (option) Screen assembly canister concealed in head of jamb covered by wood valance. Matching wood pull attached to screen rolls down black aluminum guide tracks on each side of window jamb, which is hidden by wood stops; screen color - brown fiberglass mesh; size limitations - minimum width 18"; minimum height 18"; maximum width 78"; maximum height 78".
Jamb assembly Solid wood jamb liner conceals sash balance hardware.
Sash lock (two per window) Forged sash lock and strike is standard in Iron Wrought finish or Dark Brown.
